Eurostar

Typical times from the apartment to St Pancras to catch Eurostar is approximately 45 minutes.

If you catch the Jubilee Line from North Greenwich Tube (O2) to London Bridge and get off at Kings Cross and walk through to St Pancras you have full access to London and further still on the Eurostar to Paris, where services to Gard du Nord and beyond are regular from this new terminal.

By Bike

As part of our green initiative, at nominal cost, we provide each of our customers with a bicycle, pump, lock and helmet (to be used at their own risk). If you cycle to the local tube station there is a secure chain up point.

By Bus

Greenwich Millennium Village boasts one of London's pilot bus way systems and each bus that passes from Greenwich Millennium Village will take you to the local tube station and the O2 and as far as Waterloo. From the North Greenwich bus routes 108, 161, 188, 422 and 472 operate.

By Tube (Zone 2/3)

Greenwich Millennium Village has North Greenwich Tube station which forms one of the stops on the Jubilee Line and is one stop away from Canary Wharf. Service is always regarded as good on this line due to the mass of regeneration of the Jubilee Line system and it also boasts a state of the art station. From the North Greenwich O2 (zone 2) the times to various destinations are: Canary Wharf 5 mins, London Bridge 10 mins, Stratford 10 mins, Waterloo 15 mins and Bond Street 20 mins.

By Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

The Docklands Light Railway covers the Docklands and surrounding area and is one of the most efficient light railways in the World with easy access to other public transport modes, connecting with more than 100 bus routes, five mainline railways, eight Underground lines, plus coach, taxi and river services. Additionally the railway provides a direct link to London City Airport, offering a cost-effective and convenient way to travel to and from the airport. Airport passengers can reach the DLR platform in just four minutes. The DLR carries some 67 million passengers a year with record breaking levels of reliability.

By River

If you catch Thames Rive Cruisers, which run regularly by the hour from the O2 launch, you can be at the London Eye launch within 40 minutes, where you can walk through to Waterloo Station (total journey time approximately one hour.)

Thames Clippers (http://www.thamesclippers.com/) operate frequent services (every 20 minutes) from the QEII pier to Waterloo, Embankment, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Greenland, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich and Royal Arsenal Woolwich.

We particularly like to use the river as both operators are London river travel specialists and provide travellers with a hassle free journey to and from many important places within the capital providing visitors a unique way of sightseeing.

By Air

City Airport is within striking distance of Greenwich Millennium Village, the O2 and Canary Wharf with all routes covered to European destination and also the USA. So there is now no need to use the more hectic airports surrounding London, when a short taxi ride to City Airport opens the World.

By Rail

By rail Greenwich Millennium Village is within 50 minutes of Heathrow, Stanstead and Gatwick. To catch the Eurostar to Paris and beyond it is just a few stops by tube and all of the main train stations leaving London (Waterloo, King's Cross, Paddington, Victoria,and Euston) are within a short distance.

By Car

The easiest way to access Greenwich Millennium Village from the M25 is to travel in towards London and the Blackwall Tunnel on the A2. Access to Greenwich Millennium Village is just before you reach the Blackwall Tunnel and outside the ever debated congestion charge area. All parking at the village is within the village car park system and there are the usual waiting time areas nearby at the Porters Lodge.
