Village Atmosphere

The Village and the Peninsula gives the feel of being in London without actually living in London. With long expanses of greenery and long river walks the village atmosphere coupled with the choice of restaurants, cinemas and venues that the O2 has to offer and also coupled together, with the local retail parks which includes great names such as Sainsbury's B&Q, Curries/Dixon's, Next, John Lewis, Boots, PC World and eateries such as Nando's and Pizza Hut.

Greenwich Millennium Village also boasts a very high quality Holiday Express Hotel which also houses the Peninsula Restaurant which is regarded as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the whole of the London area.

Within the local skyline you can see sights such as the towers of Canary Wharf, the Thames Barrier, Greenwich Observatory (which is very nearby) and the Old Naval College - now Greenwich University.

After a very short drive/taxi or bus ride you can reach the ever famous village of Blackheath where you can find the most amazing array of restaurants, cafes and art galleries.
