"I thoroughly enjoyed my recent experience this October when I visited the O2 to see one of my favourite groups, Supertramp.

I must say that the O2 presents a fantastic spectacle because the arena is so large I think it is essential to make sure that you get as close to the stage area as possible.

I found it very easy to get to the O2 by tube from Hammersmith (essential to get a prepaid Oyster Card). Then an exit North Greenwich station on the Jubilee line has an exit that takes you straight to the arena.

There are several good restaurants close to the O2 these include the Pilot Inn, Nakhon Thai, Caribbean Scene, Rodizio Rico and the Peninsula CHinese Restaurant, although on the more expensive side the choice of within the O2 is surprisingly good"

The O2

All our apartments are within easy reach of the O2, a well known and exciting venue for many, top line shows and events.

The O2 is now famous for staging live events and playing to audiences of up to 20,000. And now of course, housed within the O2 is matter where up to 2,600 people can find a new experience in sound and visual experience for both live music and club nights.

The O2 is served with a wide variety of transport including the Tube, the Docklands Light Railway, Good parking facilities, dedicated bicycle routes, 15minutes from the London City Airport, or within 50 minutes from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stanstead, and of course by bus seven TfL bus routes operate to the O2, three of which are 24hr services. Possibly the most relaxing and inspiring way to reach the O2 is by river, in particular Thames Clippers provide a regular scheduled service with special Express services when events are on in the O2.
