Security and Environment
Part of the Intalet philosophy in selecting properties is to evaluate security aspects. Generally we tend to choose second or third floor properties as we consider these have the best security features.
There is the concierge which is open 24hrs/day coupled with unobtrusive 24hr on-site security working closely with theO2 security to provides safe and relaxed living environment at Greenwich Millennium Village and the Greenwich Peninsula as a whole.
Each apartment block can only be accessed via a pre-programmed security tag and each apartment accessed by a double locking key system. Each bicycle shed is secured by a six digit pin-code and each car park is also secured by a tag activated roller shutter entry and exit.
The whole of Greenwich Millennium Village, including the walkways by the river to and from the local tube station (12 min walk) are covered by low level lighting and an advanced CCTV system. The feel that you get from living on the Peninsular is that you are living next to London and not in it. We have a local beat bobby who is actually visually seen on a regular basis, hence our extremely low issue rate.
Specific to properties
Each apartment is provided with two way communication. linked directly to the concierge and security. Each apartment also boasts double locking sliding doors, bedroom and bathroom windows and a double locking dead lock system once inside the apartment.
Each lobby lift area and porch is connected to the central fire system and full sprinkler system.
